About Sealing

At Oracle Corporation, we make every effort to protect sensitive business information. To help us, we use Oracle Information Rights Management (formerly SealedMedia) to seal sensitive documents and control their use.

Using Sealed Documents

To use sealed documents you need to download and install the SealedMedia Enterprise Desktop. Click the button below and follow the on-screen instructions.

When you first open a sealed document, you usually need to log in using a username and password. If so, your account details will be sent to you in a notification email.

Recognizing Sealed Documents

Sealed documents have file icons and file extensions that are slightly different to their unsealed counterparts. The following table shows the icons and extensions for the most common types of sealed document.
